I will recommend root, greenify with xposed framework and debloat your phone. Most ram is used by Sammy bloatware.

Seriously what's the point of 3gb and 4gb ram when most ram is used by Samsung bloatware. I saw same thing with S5 and Note 4.

S6 has even worse bloat, it has like 50+ pre-installed apps.

But kitkat and Lollipop has app disable system, which should be utilised to handle bloat and unnecessary stuff.

Windows phone come with some bloat too, but most of them can be uninstalled.

A friend owns a Nexus 5. 5 days ago, the signals just disappeared. But it still shows "Warid" written on it. And no calls can be made/received on it. Updated the phone to Lollipop. No effect. Restarting/taking out and putting the sim back in has no effect too. The sim works fine in other phones. What can be the problem?

Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime G530H dual sim (Russia).

Use Odin to install it and then wipe cache partition from recovery mode.

Untested, use at your own risk, but it should work flawlessly. If it doesn't, you can always come back to Kitkat.

Galaxy Grand 2 (SM-G7102) is among the lucky few mid range Samsung smartphones to receive the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update via unofficial CyanogenMod 12 ROM, with due credit to the industrious CyanogenMod team for creating the ROM, and XDA senior member mukulsoni for releasing it.

XDA Developers have confirmed that the unofficial build of CM12 ROM is highly stable and fully functional, except for the incoming voice feature on the second SIM and FM Radio audio.

As the ROM is entirely based on the original AOSP source code, it is devoid of any bloatware apps as in the case of stock ROMs, but feels much lighter than the native TouchWiz UI found on Samsung's official firmware

No it doesn't, but it all depends on their mood, as you know.

Odin is used by Samsung Service Centres too. If you install an official rom, like this Lollipop or any other appropriate stock rom, properly. Your device status will stay 'official' in settings > about device > status and also in download mode, which will state

Current Binary: Samsung official
System status: official
Knox warranty void: 0x0

Which reveals that its in 100% official state and the phone will even update OTA, indicating that its recognised as 100% official by Samsung OTA update servers too.

So, how can they void the warranty?[emoji12]

It will NOT void warranty if official rom from sammobile.com is installed for updated version or same version. Knox counter will not be set to 1 and you can receive official updates without hiccups.

The latest version here is XXU baseband, the Lollipop is XCU baseband. They cannot be flashed, but i found another way to deal with that. It is yet to be tested.
