You can update to Lollipop, but not Marshmallow as the Note 3 never received the Marshmallow update and Samsung doesn't plan to push the update for it.

Do you people receive pakwheels push notifications on windows phone forum apps like Tapatalk, Tapatalk classic, mTalk app?.

I am facing this issue on windows phone, and i even opened a thread about it.

Forum apps are allowed to run in background and also push notifications are on, but i do not receive push notifications.

This problem prevents me to participate in multiple threads, as then i have to manually check my individual notifications one by one on computer.

Ok so I installed Taptalk and checked, no push notifications as yet. I too have to manually check each thread.

Do you encounter notification issue with whatsapp? I sometimes do and a notification pops up asking me to unpin whatsapp from my start menu for getting notifications for new messages. restarting the device also solves this.

Factory resetting it after latest windows 10 update fixed most of these bugs for me. Now it works perfectly fine. Just make sure to allow it to run in background and also while battery saver is on.

No you can't.

Partition table is different on N9208, so even if flash is successful, your device will be bricked.

Don't over do it. 4MB is overkill.

Default is 512 KB, set it at 2 MB max.

You could damage the EMMC if you tinker with read/write features in kernel managers.

Too many apps are crashing. Even gmail and play store crash sometimes.
What would you suggest? Have done factory reset by holding vol up, home & power buttons after wiping partition cache.

I was thinking of doing a custom rom cynogen perhaps

S6 / S6E / S6E+ / Note 5 have Exynos 7420.
There is no official CM for these devices.

Do you have any memory boosters or battery savers installed? Or Clean Master?

Try booting into safe mode and see if the apps still crash.

Hold the power button.
The options will come up saying Power Off, restart, etc.
Hold the power off button on the screen until it says reboot into safe mode and then reboot and see if the problem still occurs.

it says downoaded apps wont work in safe mode.
Also in safe mood messages app started to crash
