You're right...the SL63 is the IWC edition. I just love those crazy fenders on the DTM. Will try to post the CLK Black review soon. Oh btw...i'm going to the M-B Classic center next week...hopefully will see something interesting. I really want to see a CLK-GTR.

The DTMs are not for sale...besides they're only here under "show and display", which means that they can only be driven around 2000 miles per year.

DTM's are not allowed in USA? Howcome, they are street legal version of DTM.

edit - I'm sure it's because of the safety requirements over there and this car didn't match up, right?

2nd edit - MB Classic Center in USA?

Yeah the problem was related to the safety regulations. And it's not worth homologating such a limited production car for the U.S.

Yeah there are only two M-B Classic centers in the world, one is in Germany and the other one is here in SoCal.

Great pics as always! (y) I'm surprised to find Schlesser's name on the Group C racer. I always thought he was a rally driver first and foremost. Must be an awesome pairing though, Jochen Mass and Jean-Louis Schlesser.

Oh and nice catch on the liberal use of the duct-tape :p!!!

I saw the SL63 at the Mercedes showroom on the Champs-Elysees in Paris in January, the thing that really hit me were the fuel consumption figures. Then again, if you've got to ask, you can't afford it...

@Sami bhai, SL63 consume more fuel than other 63's probably because of the different transmission. I'm not sure though.
