Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know that. It was something like 5 or 6 kms per litre in the city Horrendous! On the highway it was better, something like 9 kms per litre.

Ditto on the Schlesser buggy..I've seen it during a motor show in Dubai...quite interesting, to say the least.

Did they have an SL65 BS coming in? I recognised the wheels from the DTM as being similar to the ones on the SL65 BS, without the rivets. Not a big fan of the wheels, but I love the aggressive exterior. The CLK63 BS is rather tame by comparison, IMO.

I think that 4x4 SLK was actually an SLK body on a G-Wagen chassis. It even had two ignition switches. One for the body (SLK) and the other for the G-Wagen (chassis)

@Kamran bhai, It was yellow in color? I doubt there're more than 1 SLK 4x4, as it was custom built. Plus the car belongs to Jim Rogers, who did world trip on that thing. Amazing!

I remember reading Mercedes-Benz Mid-East Magazine, last year, in that month edition (don't remeber the month exactly) GLK was on main cover as it was newly launched in mid-east. This SLK was also there, and Mercedes admits that it was a quite big compliment for them. maybe the Name idea came from there. if they can give their supercar (SLR Stirling Moss) name of a "not a VERY successful" driver then I think this is possible too?
