Today i was looking at tires at local store , took some pics of different designs,, various tread designs show their own properties on road.

you can select what type of tread suites you need best depending where you drive.

this is offroad plus speed road use tire made in spain. costs Rs.38,000/-

what would you say about this tread use. i say wet/rain speed road use. max grip speed 150km/hr. will go faster ofcourse but perf of road handling will decrease at that.

Levin go for yokohama db silent, its a performance tire ultra quite but price is from 7500 to 8200 per tire on different stores, looking for my accord as i told u my tires r very noisy.

note the water exist channels in "left tire and plain from centre.. should be great for wet roads.

and "crosses" in right tire of better brakes?.. obviously you need some friction from road too. if road is too plain/smooth/slippery, friction decreases,, maybe, the Yokohama on right will grip better on ice but noisey.. any one has experience of this model?

interesting design of left tire.

what do you think that's for?. on right that's general xp2000 made in Pak.. Generals use the middle of all designs but need to work more on rubber, because used half general tire tend to loose roadgrip

i just bought same tire as i have before and 4 additional spare wheel/tires for broken/ dirty road use so i can remove my BSA rims for different color paint coat.

right tire its quiet noisy type,, but maybe better on semi offroad. and snow

the quietiest tire on road in that shop had straight lines. no major sideways tread pattern

sir g the last tire on right is very quite i have it in my cultus, it is nexen, and is performance tire really handles well using them for 2nd time, most of the korean tires specially nexen r quite.

drag racers like these designs? wet traction is grt but on road.. no grip in muddy area maybe, and grt speed handling on freeways.
