My spine is tinglingjust thinking about this beauty!!!! I remember the first inspiration for this car, the Porsche 917-30 driven by Mark Donahue in the 70s...It was amazing 1100 hp in a flat 12 cylinder engine. The spark plugs costed $72 each I read once back in 1972. It was the baby blue with Gulf Oil sponsorship.

Did you know that there was a rumor in the early eighties that it was named that because Enzo Ferrari was alleged to be having an affair with Bridget Bardot (BB - get it?) and he finally succumbed to her and had Sergio Pininfarina design a car modeled around her figure? It was the first mid engined car for Ferrari and Enzo refused to do one until a muse came along, despite all the data saying he should.
