Saw this Suzuki APV pickup truck at Suzuki Khair Agencies. It is near Gulshan-e-Maymar exit on Super highway (nearby is a Hyundai showroom as well so easy to find).

It is not yet released and not on Pak suzuki official website. The staff told me that it is parked there to check public response and thus commercial viability. The price has been determined (preliminary or whatever I don't know) however and it is Rs. 1m (plus 50k on).
It is just an APV van with a cargo bed instead of seats. Features include same 1500cc (G15) engine as APV, power steering, 5-speed gearbox and cabin A/C. The parked vehicle was fitted with LT Bridgestone R623 radials. Didn't note whether tubeless or not.
The loading capacity is not mentioned on the tailgate (and I forgot to ask). Right now there is no CNG variant.
As seen in the third photo, it is written 'Carry'. Is it the replacement for carry?
Also, I think if the market accepts it, it will be a big hit just like APV. (APV is a big hit in small-distance intercity operators). Main loading competitors include Hilux and Shehzore which are both more expensive and only diesel. The CNG charm (if it persists) would definitely help. Drivers will also like it better because of powerful engine (ever seen how the APV flies on highway?), power steering, better brakes, better seating position and cabin cooling/heating.
What's your opinion?
