You can use any mono amplifier which is stable at 2ohms. I have a 4 channel amp and mostly 4 channel amps are stable at 4ohm (minimum) at bridged mode. 4ohm DVC sub has two options for wiring:
Both voice coils can be wired in series and total impedance will be 8 ohm
Both voice coils can be wired in parallel and total impedance will be 2 ohm
If you use 4ohm DVC sub with 4 channel amplifier, you have only one option to wire it at 8 ohms. In this case the amplifier will not provide its rated power to the sub.
So the bottom line is that if you are going to buy a mono amp, you can use this sub without any problem. But if will buy a 4 channel amp then this sub is not good for your.
