Santa Fe AWD review after 6 months/12000kms. Not an expert, just your average driver here.
Previous Cars
BAIC BJ40 2022 (2 years/ 14000 kms)

Reasons for buying
Requirements/Needs
- Large boot space (didn't need a 7 seater)
- Fuel efficient preferably Hybrid
- Should not be under powered.
- ABS, Traction Control etc etc
- Front/Rear cameras
- Cruise Control
- Navigation
- Decent audio system
Nice to have
- Turbo
- AWD
- LED Headlights
- Apple Car Play/Android Auto (preferably wireless)
- No ADAS (yes you read that right)
Very satisfied with the car so far. Fulfills my "needs" beautifully. Was doubtful about its power but it has surprised me. Never for once felt it is under powered. On the highway have to keep an eye on the speedometer. It just glides to 140+ without one even realizing it. Its not going to turn heads but if this is what you need then its a great car. It has a lot of small quality of life features which enhance the overall experience.
Drive is comfortable. Haven't sat in the rear seats but no complaints so far from passengers.
Suspension is good.
The head unit works great. Sometimes Apple Car Play does not show the screen even though its connected but thats rare.
AC is good. If you turn on the rear (boot) AC then it struggles.
Uphill the transmission prolongs low gear which makes the engine scream a bit. Could be irritating but nothing to worry about.
The rear indicators are placed way down below, if the driver behind you is bumper to bumper then he may not see them.
Mileage
This varies a lot depending on your driving style, terrain and fuel quality. However here are my numbers with AC (Islamabad, M2) on regular fuel.
Accuracy of mileage shown by the car: +- 0.7km/l
City: ~17km/l
Highway: ~12km/l
Murree: Uphill = 8+km/l, Round trip = ~15km/l
Monal: Uphill = 6+km/l, Round trip = ~13km/l
I get 18+km/l frequently in Islamabad.
Maintenance is around Rs 5/km. I'm expecting it will go up in the long run.
Hope this helps.
