PKDM Alto VXR or VXL

Hi guys
I am thinking of buying new PKDM Suzuki Alto. Primary reason for selection is fuel economy. I don't have an eye for used cars so JDM is not an option for me.

I am unsure about the model though. VXL is expensive by almost 2 lacs. I am wondering if it is worth spending or VXR would be just fine.

Any suggestions?

I prefer manual transmissions so I would go for the VXR. It's basically your choice and how much your budget can support.

VXL has following additions over VXR so if you need/want all these then spend the money if you have it, if you can live without these things miss krain VXR lain zabardast gari hai

Two tone interior

VXR is perfectly fine. Transmission and gear shifts are smooth so there isnt much difference other than shashka of auto like transmission and MID screen.
You can opt for VXR, wont disappoint you, but be mindful of the faults other users mentioned in Alto and do check the vehicle thoroughly for these faults before you sign the car delivery acknowledgment !

yes you missed the below:

ABS
COLORED DOOR MIRROR
FLOOR MATTS ARE DIFERENT IN VXL AND VXR
FABRIC OF SEAT IS BETTER IN VXL THAN VXR

GO for VXL, it got both auto and manual option. There is an emty space on dashboard in VXR which looks bad, whereas the gear stick on dashboard in VXL looks cool.

Please also note, that the wheels caps of VXL costs Rs. 39,000/- for four pieces as checked by myself from MACCA motors karachi. these are the prices of wheel caps and not alloy rims.

3 lac k bhi bechain soozki walay, lekin zaroorat kia hai un say lenay ki?!

@saad.ikram.5688 Well these are good features to have but I can live without them. Someone told me that VXR would have less resale value compared to VXL. I am wondering how true that might be

Resale mein khaasa zaida farq nai hona cause Pakistani awam likes manual a lot lot more than auto and manual vxr is cheaper so kaafi zaida buyer wont spend 14.5 lac for vxl is liye resale mein itna issue nai hona

and wheel cups open market se 1000 rupee k mil jatay hain and if you want jdm walay woh aapko 2000-4000 bilal jung jaisi jaga se mil jain gay

I dont think mein ne aisi post ki hai maybe it was someone else. I havent seem the rust on mufler on any cars lekin kissi ki post mein tha with picture evidence
Doors misaligned nai alto kay thay are very very very perfectly aligned this time mein khud hairan hu pak suzuki pe k alignment itni achi kaisay

Dents and scratches and bubbles hain cause paint quality k kaafi issues hain so yeah new letay huay zehn mein rakhna paray ga

Comparing with jdm local k spot welds baray messy say thay boot ki inner side pe. No rear crash bar behind bumper, and vxr ka gear boot already ripped on many cars .

So yeh cheezain need to look before taking delivery

Jo VXR mein manual gear hai
Gear knob ki neechay leather/leatherite jo lagi hoti hai to cover it
uski stitching already khul rahi thi in display unit

This thing is gear boot jo before and after mein change kia wa hai
iski stitching was opening already
