PKDM vs JDM

I am planning to buy a hatchback car for use in city for that i was thinking about buying a Wagon R. On Pakwheels i have seen both Pakistani assembled and Japanese assembled car. In looks JDM look better with many safety features and comfort with semi hybrid engines which seem to be more economical as compared to PKDM ones. I was looking for Wagon R Fx 2017+ models. On the other hand Pakistani assembled are more powered with better ground clearance but no safety and comfort of ride. I am not planning to use this car for highway trips. My main intention is to use it only in city with 5-6km daily drive.
Kindly suggest me which is better option as my budget is 1.8 million and i want a car with less visit to mechanic and also car with smoother and comfortable ride. Also i am concerned about its AC performance as i live in Mianwali where summer is burning hot.

Pkdm all the way. Japanese is only preferred if u are self importing. Most.of the cars.are repaired ones sold at the name of genuine. Parts are much more expensive. Also k series 1000ccc is mucb better than 660cc dinky.
For 1.8 million get Cultus ..better than wagonR...if u want auto, u can go for ags too. Avoid jdm scrap for 1.8

If you’re interested in JDM it’ll be better in terms of quality safety and options plus will be more fuel efficient,I would suggest better import one if you’ve got time it’ll cost you very less if compare to market

JDM write off auction vehicles are useless. Already 3 years old an heavy maintenance requirement on cards. As fluid changes suspension issue CVT whining CAT Con check lights on local fuel. source of parts is scrap yards.

For PKDM cars brand new parts are available in open market and maintenance is highly economical

You dont seem too knowledgeable about cars and your highway travel is more than city travel so in that case PKDM would be better..

You can find a clean non accidental JDM with tons of features but they do require more care and if you are not up for it them you will end up bashing JDM cars for your life so stick to PKDM which you can handle

JDM- Spend money to spend time in scrap yards and travel on taxis while your car sits in your garage awaiting a new card or transmission.
PKDM- Spend and use it to ensure tranquility.

I have read the conversations, and to conclude, would sincerely suggest to go for a brand new, PKDM, 1000 cc Cultus / Celerio! (Wagon R may be avoided).

you import the cars from Japan ? deliver to Lahore or ISB ?

For peace of mind, I would suggest that you buy a new PKDM car preferably Suzuki Cultus. Forget JDM as it would cause you endless headaches.
