Pl guide goods and bads of cultus

Dear Members, I want to purchase Suzuki Cultus VXR. I have read many reviews, not favouring cultus. But my budget allows me that I can only purchase,if brand new car, cultus. Pl tell me weather I will waste my money. Thanks.

If u want to run ur car on CNG and there is no factor involve of RESALE , then also consider CHEVY JOY & HYUNDAI SANTRO.

They both r better than CULTUS in terms of performance & technology.

go for used vehicle like city 2001 to 2003 model...
find a car in good condition with low milage. u will enjoy it more then new cultus...

Arif, I own VXR since 2001 and so far I am quite happy with it. I am running on Petrol (no CNG installed). My ride is not much so fuel cost is not much concern of me.

Bad things which I have faced so far are: a) noises from different parts of car, b) Brakes, c) cabin heats up immediately if you park your car in sun in just few minutes, I never have this problem in my old cars Corolla and Sunny or perhaps it is just a feel, d) Steering vibrated at 100 km/hr but this problem was gone once I changed the stock General Tyres with Dunlop, road grip also improved.

Good things are a) Air con, b) Low maintenance, c) seating capacity and ample leg space that is not available in many cars of the same range, d) comfortable ride.

cultus is a fragile car plus its also the ugliest lookin car,dude get a used car honda ,corolla 1998-2002

The ONLY thing good about the cultus is a good resale value...... which is infact not about the car but about the so called investment that people make in cars here lol.. All other factors...... this car is totally rubbish............
Carb engine in 2006 making sounds like bur bur bal bal bur all the time ??????? body made of tin........ brakes which hardly serve the purpose........ seating postition the same as we had in the car of 80's waisay it's bc this is such an old car haha....
Overall........ it's not a good car bro........ Just the monkey see monkey do thinking of the pakistani people......... yar sab lay rahay hain ......

cultus ONLY has gud resale..and gud leg space in it. besides that , its EVERY thing sux. ma bro has 2005 cultus and he is CURSING the day he decided to get one. the finishing quality is UTTERLY pathetic. he opened his door and i saw the pillar inside and i asked when he got it dented and fixed again, and he said he never did so but the body showed as if some local "mistry" had done so. ma side room mate had delivery of 2006 cultus a month back and its AC water was kumng in. its VERY fragile and has expensive spare parts as well. it has even been reported that cultuses on the roads are KUMING with tilted chasis from company. rest, u can well imagine

i wud also recommend Santro or Joy if space is not a problem for u.

i agree with aomair.. things he pointed out are quite valid, since i own a cultus too. however i would suggest not to waste ur money to buy a zero meter cultus, it aint worth 6lac+

do look for a used cultus around 4.5-5 lac, thats what it worth!

Cultus is pathetic car, only good in resale, and thats it. I believe people who walk are much happier than the one who buyz a cultus and drives it.

Go for a 2nd hand Honda, what about civic ??
