Place to stay, Thanyani

I hav been to Thandyani 6 years back and found the only place to stay , The Forest Resthouse. Now we friends r planning to visit there for a night, so my question is that is there any decent Hotel to stay in Thandiani.

At top i think no hotel.

At Thandiani village there are some hotels. (i saw last year) but don't have any good information..

no hotel at top, its not a good idea to stay for night there, for night stay nathiagali is a better choice

stay not recommended at thandiani....visited last week and found no good hotel

if there is no proper accomodation then i will take my tents and sleeping bags as we r friends

If you wanna stay a night in thandiani, there is no better choice than " Far Pavilion " which is adjacent to Army Guest House. It has two wooden huts with Double Bed. Bath rooms are " Just OK ". Hot water is available in the morning.
It has very nice lush green lawns surrounded by thick pine trees. Also has a kitchen and a dining room. Even if you wanna do camping, I recommend you camp at Far Pavilion's camping ground.. Its owned by a Retd. colonel and now being run by his son. There's no electricity in any hotel in thandiani so better charge your cell phones fully before leaving abbotabad. They also provide generator and last year they were charging Rs. 100 per hour.
Overall its a very nice place to do " Jungle main Mungle ".

Could u please tell me what army guest house are u talking about ? is there an army guest house in thandyani ?

few years back there wasnt any proper place to stay but now there are few hotels to stay.... u cant easily find a place to stay....
