Planing trip to swat and need help,assistance?

Saqib bhai, two questions:

1. How is the road condition between Butkhayla and Mingora? It was very bad last year.

2. Is there safe place to park car if one wants to go to Kalam on public transport?

(sorry bro for late reply as i was out to peshawer islamabad lahore.)

you can stay at kalam but can't at malam jabba coz there is no hotel as like to stay nor there is any shop of handicrafts if you are interested in handicrafts don't try to buy that in behrain ,kalam or any where else coz it would be a hell expensive buy them at mingora if need reference i am here. ....nor any direct transport to kalam from malam jabba you need to come back to mingora and than go to behrain or kalam.

(bro work in progress since last 6 months on landaki mingora road on last weekend traveled on and what i have said to them is not mentionable lolz... any ways simply its awesome bad condiyion from landaki to mingora landaki till landaki its best landaki is about 20 km from batkhela.but from landaki you can switch road to mingora that is recommended as the best out of best road a relax and scenery full track one can enjoy i will mention map soon so that there would be ease for every one in sha ALLAH )

Saqib, can you tell how much is distance from Mingora to Dir and then Dir to Chitral (via Tunnel) and how much time is required for travelling on this route on a car ?

bro mingora temar garah consumes almost 2 hours and hopefully 2.3 hours to dir.and next to chitral 4-5 hours depending upon rest in the rout and bla bla bla.

thank u so much khalidoon for comments and apprisiation .bro one can buy hand made shawls and wood work but the wood work that can be handled with other wise forest department may create issues .and the relevant shops for handicrafts are a hell here but i would suggest every one to buy these only from mingora not from any where else mean behrain ,madyan,kalam as these will be costing some expensive .at mingora if one needs im here for reference .

it is suvastu gallery at nishat choke
swat handi crafts at main bazar and many more in main bazar.new road and main bazar are the main markets for buying these.

ASIM KHAN sb 1st of all welcome to swat .secondly the rout is all over safe no worry.one diversion may be needed almost 30 km before repeating again may be if work in progress by NHA otherwise strait to mingora .hotels are mentioned in the thread as on panel if you are interested in these other wise many more are there. were ever you want to stay will be arranged.rent depends on time of booking and seasonal impact is there as well.nothing else to mention just keep your C.N.I.C's with you for army assistance .you are coming on your own car that's good.you may need a hiring taxi for kalam mahodand lake only as uptil behrain road is clear and nothing to worry about.feel free to come and ask any thing else if left.
