yes bro you can but as the road condition is very bad so you need to be careful and drive very slow after behrain .from islamabad you may need 5 hr max to mingora and 5 max hour to kalam from mingora

@najamtariq dear i am back from sawat last week and i whould say if you love your car dont take it to kalam. Till behrain it is good but moving ahead is not good

i am planning a tour to swat with my family, please guide me about 4 days plans...

1-what are current hotel rates in behrain and kalam....

2-should i need prior booking for hotels ... or just go and find and good hotel.

3- what will be the cost per night hotel stays.

4- i have 5 days, don't want to make a trip hectic, what locations should not be missed.

5- where should be the base stay, behrain or kalam..??

6 - what are the shopping attractions in swat ? as wife and my mohter are going with me.

7 - I am taking me car ( corolla-2011 ), m not afraid of driving , so where should i take my car or where should i take jeep..

(bro it depends upon situation and condition and tourist. some will offer you 1200 the other will 2500 reason you may understand but over all max rate is 2500 you can bargain on it and where ever you finalized will be success )

AOA! Sir i m also planning for Swat on 11th June,15 with my friends.we will book hi roof from Lhr for this trip.
My travelling dates are:
Departure from Lhr on 11th June,15 @ 9.p.m
Back to Lhr on 14th June,15 till midnight or early morning of 15th June,15.
My queries are:
1: best route from Lhr to Mangora via motorway?
2: time to reach from Lhr to Mangora & then Mangora to Kalam?
3: jeep fare from Kalam to till Mohodand lake & back to Kalam?
4: jeep fare for boyuan village?
5: best hotel for stay & restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner in Kalam?
6: and last what u will recommend Itinerary for my trip? (in my mind is that we will directly reach kalam & stay there for two nights,first day visit boyan village & track to boyan meadow & second day to mohodand lake)

Please reply my questions keeping in view that i had been never before there.
