Planning a tour to Gilgit-Hunza-Khunjerab

We are planning a round trip from Islamabad to Gilgit-Hunza-Khunjerab starting from July 1 2108 to July 8 2018 on Toyota Wish with seven persons 4 adults 3 children. I would appreciate your valued input on:
1. The route I should follow covering maximum worth seeing places enroute.
2. Which best hotels I can find on the route, during this season what price I should expect.
3. Is this good time to plan the tour
4. How much budget I should plan
5. What are the places, experiences I must get during the trip.
What difficulties I should expect or be prepared for during the trip.

1. The route I should follow covering maximum worth seeing places enroute. (Islamabad > Balakot > mansehra Bypass > Naran >Babusar pass > Chillas Zeropoint > Gilgit > hunza > Khunjerab)
2. Which best hotels I can find on the route, during this season what price I should expect ( alot of hotels in gilgit and Hunza, prices are around 2000 to 4000 whereas in Naran rates are very high )
3. Is this good time to plan the tour ( Yes it is, I did this trip on same dates last year, but with friends )
4. How much budget I should plan ( on safe side 15 to 20 K per head )

I have one concern, Toyota Wish ground clearance is not in Par with Honda City or Toyota Corolla, and with 7 persons on board your car will have lesser ground clearance. It is advisable to get a Toyota Hiace on rent from Islamabad to have a more pleasant experience.

I shall evaluate this issue. however I visited Malam Jabba last March but did not face this issue. May be this new route is more bumpy!

this route is 10 times better than Malam Jabba road.

Please skip Gilgit and go directly to Hunza, Gilgit will be too hot.
