Planning a trip to murree/bhurban in first week of Feb

I am planning to go to murree (bhurban side) on first week of Feb with my young kids (from Islamabad). Can someone please advise what will be the road conditions?

I am intending to make it a day trip and not spend the night as i have to travel back due to some work.
Will i be needing chains? Is it safe to travel with kids on 3rd Feb?

Sir just a brotherly advice; rather than Murree take them to Nathiagali. Still better. Murree sorry to say is a bloody "Changarkhana". I last passed it in 2018 and was on pins and needles in the car with family. Nearly the entire scum of Pakistan was there openly gesturing at females, making cat calls and acting like an out of control pack of dogs. Zero care and regard for families. Still leave it to you. Just thought I would give my 2 cents...

But consigliori bhai Nathiagali is open? becuase last jan when I visit it was road were closed due to heavy snow fall.

Dear Bro would be unfair on my part to give a ruling from Karachi but 3.5 weeks back it was all clear. In 2018 also I stayed at NG and now when I stayed at Abbottabad I took the kids to NG. Don't know why but we have a fondness for NG. Ofcourse Taj Mahal's patakha chicken is a big attraction too...

weather aur timing check kerke jaana
traffic jams bahut milein gey ..traffic is one of the main source of indecency for the ignorant (after mall road murree) .. wese one of the hidden gem about that area is fajar ke time bhi mood kharab kerne wale mil jatay hain

nathiagali may or may not be open.. murree pohanch ker hee you will know if it will be open for traffic

NG ho ya bhurban leave home as early as possible .. you wont get a lot of traffic jams.. road conditions will be good if it isnt snowing on the day or day before

For me NG is far better than Murree too its has own charm those who have not seen yet they can go only once to full fill their desire .. byt he way may by @asifcae knows that NG is open or not

Thank you guys for the responses. Actually i will be going to bhurban side (trying to get a booking in army mess) so my only concern is road conditions. I am aware of the awam so always try to avoid such places.
