Planning a trip to Naraan,Kaghan

I am planning a trip to Naraan, kaghan and may be Swat as well on the end of April
by road on Suzuki Mehran, I just wanted to know is it OK? and what are conditions of the roads?

Mehran is quite fit for both sides, swat road conditions ok upto Bahrain rest upto Kalam and on ward Allah Hafiz , but can easily manage able
Naran side roads are ok but you have to check weather route will be open till april or not

thank you sir,can you or anyone tell me more specifically about Two of these destinations Kaghan and Kalam,which will the the best,I have got max four to five days for the whole trip from Lahore.Stays and refreshments etc,my family will accompany me and I will be the only driver

kaghan and kalam r equally good and equally challenging. But naran is closed for now and i guess u wont be able to go there till may, may b. kalam is open these days. your travel time will be slightly longer for kalam plus road from bahrain onwards is bad. whereas, roads on the naran side r good. your luck if the access is closed by the time you plan to leave. four to five days r good enough for both of them

Is there anyone who can tell the exact situation of Kaghan like roads conditions and accommodation etc,by the end of April.Please also suggest about driving because I never drive on the hills before.

Swat will be a choice for these days , but why,
1.more no of visit area I.e mingora,Madian,miandam,malam jabba,Bahrain,Kalam,ushu,mahudand lake whereas no doubt Naran is beautiful but today’s not possible and also few areas for visit except you go upto Babusar top that is a difficult track for driving

Have you installed serva breaks in your car instead of it’s original if not don’t take risqué to go these hilly areas

Naran, kaghan will b the best choice with family if the route open till the end of April upto naran & hope so it will b open, roads are very good to travel specially with family..i saw some tour operators have announced their tours till naran at end of april so it seems naran will b open on these dates.

i called right now to a tour operator who is arranging a trip to naran on 19th April,18 n he said naran is open for all kind of vehicles.

It’s cost near about 3 to 4 thousands and you can install from super auto market beside surya Azeem hospital choburji chowk at Mughal Auto Engeenear Mr Ishtiaq Mughal , I will give you his contact if you want

From Kalma Chowk to Naran is 615 km. With stops it takes 12 hours to reach there. The road is fine till Naran, however at a few places where there is water coming from top of the mountain on the road, the road is broken over at that point. There are around 4-5 points.

Never been to Kalam so cannot comment on it.
