@Ocean, what is the function of venturi, and if i install advancer/emulator with CIP 5, does venturi still required, i am confused, please illustrate, thanks.

ventri is not an advancer nor emulator; it's just aluminum body placed in between Air inlet and throtal body to mix air with cng before going in combustion chamber. and with use of good ventri air+cng mixture is comparatively better that's it.
Emulator is used to stop fuel injectors for throwing petrol in chamber and advance is used to advance timing lil bit.

hi i have recently installed CNG in my swift dx 2011.
Kit is landi renzo genuine wali (Confirmed from 2 / 3 sources)
advancer/emulator is cip 5 which has lamda built in (oxygen emulation)
(I want to mention that cip 5 was recommended by ocean aka mansoor bhai)
along with ncl cylinder (i dont know the exact litre capacity there is some confusion as it looks like 55ltr but shop wala said its 60 ltr but i have experienced at the max 8.2 kg gas in it).
Fresh faber wasnt available and as far as my research faber 55 and other ogra approved branded cylinders has not mor 12 kgs of difference.Please correct me if i am wrong on these cylinders theories.

Now the result is i am driving my car on cng and i have no problems what so ever.i heard a lot
a)cng canot be fit in swift
b)it is not successful in swift.
3)Only brc is successful n etc.

But i have no complaints i am getting 115 with AC in lahore city.
One first gear i feel no pick problems even there is no difference in pick of first gear on cng and petrol believe me.I have some feeling in 2nd gear pick goes down but very minor rlse on evey gear its really good.

I am driving daily 5 to 6 km on petrol before and after CNG.

Check engine light issue is there which is as far as installers are concerned reason is that exhaust detects some thing different on cng as compare to on petrol thats y ecu throws error but soon they will find some solution.

I have few questions to CNG users in swift.
1)i have a little bit pick problem in 2nd gear what could be the cause and solution?
2)any solution to check engine light.
3)i have stock spark plugs any suggestions/reasons/advantages for iridium spark plugs?
4)A very minor rpm goes up and down automatically i mean switch in between 900 to 1000 when car is idle any reasons for that and how to fix it?

If any one has any questions regarding the info i have provided can ask freely.

And last but not the least i got all the stuff in 35,000 Rs.

an idea that needs looking into:
For emissions light problem, if the exhaust sensor and oxygen sensor give same voltage to the ecu then oxygen emulation wire from emulator can be connected to the downstream exhaust sensor too for emulation of both....
Imho, worth looking into...

I would like to share my exp of installing CNG kit in Swift

I thank to the person who has mentioned about the LR authorized dealer, I went to there office and on inquiring they told me that LR is manufacturing a dedicated box for swift which includes all the essential parts for CNG

They took 1 week for delivery of box from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com</st1:City>Karachi to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Islamabad</st1:place></st1:City>, I took the box and cylinder from them which cost 24K for the box and Zifer 55kg cylinder cost 20.5K.

The box contains
LR CNG Kit
LR Emulator LR27
LR Advancer STAP 600
LR LAMBDA control system LC 01
Venturi – Specially designed for swift by LR
All the wiring, gauge, nuts, bolt, pipe each and everything
LR Pen and key chain (Complementary Gift)
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:place w:st="on">Islamabad</st1:place></st1:City> that is PAKISTAN CNG in I-9 which install lambda system and it is also recommended by LR itself.

I took the cylinder and box to him and they install everything in 4 hours and took 2k for stand which is specially designed for swift without doing any drill holes etc and 4.5K for installation.

Total cost concludes Rs. 51K, <o:p></o:p>
The pick on petrol is reduced to 8% because of the weight of cylinder and air blockage by venturi, on CNG pick has reduced to 15% as compared to petrol, moreover I can easily accelerate the car in 2nd gear with rpm 5 along with AC. Overall I am very satisfied by the pick and drive on CNG

All the settings are done computerized by LR software and through LC 01, there is no problem of check light at all as all of the sensors are controlled by LC 01.

a)How much u ran ur car b4 going for CNG.
2)spark plugs chaged or still stock?
3)And how much you accelerate on 1st gear to go on 2nd to get good pick?
4)Last but not the least the mileage on one cylinder with son stop AC.

i have done just 1800KM before instaling Kit
Plugs are stock
1st gear goes to rpm 6500 then there is a fuel cut just like petrol, this option is only available with LC 01.We can increase and decrese this option throuch LR software.
Mileage will be shared soon

And more i did 160kM/hr on islamabad highway on CNG without AC in 4th gear and is still gettin more as had to slow down because of the traffic

is the guy tuned LC01 accoring to swift or it was pre-tuned by LR for Swift.

Can you sahre pictures, venturi and cylinder pic specially.

@ Ocean: previously i have Cultus EFI and whenver i went to suzuki for tunning, they use the same LR software for tune up which this guy used at Pakistan CNG, everythin relating to the parts, sensors and condition of engine is appearing in his laptop and if something mechanially goes wrong then the software will prompt the problem. all the cars has different settings for LR CNG, he tuned himself accordingly to swift. and he can make changes just like i mentioned before by increasing and decresing the rpm - fuel cut, setting of timming, race, everthing is controlled by Lambda

i am facing a little prob that if i gear up my car from gear 1 to 2 on say (20-30 ki speed pe)on AC i dont get pick.But without AC very minor feeling that is negligible.
2ndly i have not yet tested it on highways yet but 110-120 is no prob at all for swift on CNG on 4th gear in city higher cant be tested due to city traffic.
Mileage i am getting is 120-125 in one 60L cylinder with total non stop AC.
What i feel about my prob is that i might have not good plugs or gap of the plugs is incorrect?

the only problem which i am having is that my car bend too much from back due to the cylinder, do you have any solution for that or anyone of you have placed spacers on above the back shocks??

@uqc; get it tuned again; once i tried to change setting my self and i was facing same problem. then i went to the guy who installed and he re-tuned on CNG.

and that is the reason you are getting 110-120 in 60 W/L cylinder. it's supposed to give you atleast 140. get it tuned again and InshAllah you will get better results.

Mansoor bhai one more reason for ur mind set regarding 140 is that pindi/isb as has good combustion rate as compare to lahore as the region is different and source of gas is different which makes the difference in combustion power as amount of mutane butane and athane is different regionaly.So gas from pindi / isb always do more.

umair its not an issue at all i also had same lowered down back.Just went to mechanic for spacers and ask him aluminum made one inch size spacers.One inch spacers will raise you car exactly same as factory fitted.it cost 1200 to 1500 Rs and only 1 hour.its not at all a big problem
And can u tell me do u have any RPM fluctuations on CNG?
and how much RPM u r maintaining on GAS and how much u get when convert to petrol?

but used to get 95 KM on full cylinder at Lahore 100% AC on.

but in Isb/rwp i used to get 120-130 KM.

that is with 40 WL cylinder.

try to get it tuned and InshAllah you will get 130 atleast in Lahore coz it's 20 WL more capacity in your tank.

how much in kgs u get in 40w/l at max pressure or how much in kg's u normally get ur tank filled?
