I dont think any one of us has ever travelled to that sector. If you want practical advice get in touch with some army guy, they would be able to tell you the DOs and DONTs of trip and exact route plus location. Good luck and do share the experience
Thank you brother yes i will share inshAllah
@asifcae our guru can help you out when he will online
Will be needing permission from army.distance from skardu is about 150 kms. Road condition till khaplu is good you cam reach khaplu by car
i dont think even army chief ke bhi biwi bachay wahan "saiyr sapaatay" ke liye ja saktay hain.. it seems like an area of conflict with a tough terrain
No it is open for tourists since 2018 .
No need of permission until you need a protocol .
I am leaving tonight InshAllah and i will try to update
So momin bhai its mean ke its open for tourism or you need to take some permission ?

Really nice experience you shared. I have a little awareness of this area before as my brother-in-law who is in army was once appointed in Siachen long ago. He shared his adventurous experience and we were astonished to hear the features of this region of Pakistan. We also came to know that Pak army deserves our solute who are appointed here and they do their duty no matter whatever the circumstances may be. That time this area was not open for local tourists. So less visited up till now and very few people know about this area.
Best,
My neighbor Captain Javed Akhtar from Abbottabad was the first one to lay his life for the Homeland in Siachen and He inspired me to join Military Collage Jhelum. Salute to the Sons of soil and Salute to our defenders The Pak Army .
That's a spirit! Enjoy traveling and stay safe. Explore Pakistan and share your findings here.
Best of luck
