Assalam alaikum. I am planning a trip with my family including a 4 month daughter on the 4th of may from khi to murree and naran kaghan and we ll be 5 people. My itenary would be as follows
1. Khi to rawalpindi by greenline train reaching there around 7p.m. planning to go to murree but dont know how to hire wheels. Any tips on that please ? (are you including 4 month daughter as fifth person ? if yes then you can hire car and it will save lots of time. If you have not considered her as 5th person then i think will be issue as fitting 5 persons in a car for a long journey is not adviseable at all.)
2. 6th may: Spend time just in murree. Any thing interesting to see at walking distances?
(murree say buhat behtar hay app Nathia gali, Thundyani side pay chalay jain. there is nothing in murree and people are very rude as well. plus there is nothing to see in murree, these days only "Charras" (khunwaray) guys go there for hooting. And another thing, do Tracks in Nathiya gali side...e.g. Donga gali track (i love this track, dont rush on track and enjoy each and every bit of it), Mushkpuri if opened dont know about it as never visited in this season.)
3. 7th may hire a taurus or any comfortable car for 6 days. Go to patriata neelum point ayubia nathiagali and rest in nathiagali. Any good hotel suggestions please ? (About ride, you can hire Boolan from murree, but choose which is fit. otherwise saray joor dukhain *** 
.Choose wisely and do go yourself, dont get help of any agent and you will get room cheaper).
4. 8th may we head to balakot and after lunch go to naran. Any good hotels in naran? Also would this be a long tiring journey?
(yes it will be tiring but since you have already cover enough distance so i dont think it will be too tiring for you guyz). Cant say about hotels as Naran just opened a day ago so that depends, i am leaving myself on 5th of May. Lets see what happens. Last time i stayyed in demanchi naran)
5. 9th visit to the route of saif ul mulook (i heard its completely frozen, jeeps wont even take us and since we cant trek so i cant visit). Go to jhalkand if open. (You cant go anywhere in these on jeeps. Saif ul malook will not be open for jeeps neither Jhalkad, Last year i went on 1st may and it was not open and huge glaciers were on the roads. did saif ul malook track, it was awesome, but please dont go to saif ul malook track as you have infant with you).
6. 10th may go to shugran having lunch in kaghan. Any good places to see in kaghan? also any good hotel recommendation in shugran?
( i stayyed in pine park, aweseome rooms, good food, but do book before as last time we had booked our rooms but still they gave to someone else due to rush)
7. 11th to sri pai ( jeeps can do there durin that time ?)
(sri accessible but not pai, pai is all trekking)
8. 12th. Stay in shugran and leave back to balakot and night stay.
(did not know much about balakot coz never stayyed there but if you have day then you could plan for sharan forest). i have never been there but in pics it looks awesome.
9. 13th is a free day and i am not able to decide what i can do. Please suggest.
(Sharan forest or a waterfall near havalian. i did not go to this waterfall myself, so just suggestion you can check yourself details or ask someone who went there)
10. 14th we head back to pindi at evening. Go to monal
(seems good to me, do check look virsa, museum , lake view).
11. 15th see some places in isl and take a flight back to khi in the evening.
Main questions: will i be able to hire a car from murree for this trip ?
Answered earlier but again you can hire boolan (must be newer model and comfortable , good seats etc.) This boolan can carry you guyz till whatever the point is open in Naran. we have been till babusir top on boolan.
Secondly i am a noob for the northern areas please guide me with my itenary if it needs modifications and answer questions posted there.
