Platz vs Vitz

Let aside resale, PLatz gota be the winner..its just like owning a luxurious sedan even better then the city/liana etc etc.ppl say platz is ugly but personally i think the 2004 model with crystal lights and nice rims looks really nice..

Guys, thanks for your feedback. Actually, I want to buy a car with the budget of 6lac. I personally am in favour of platz as it is sedan and suits for family but I have noticed most people are buying vitz instead of platz. So I am confused.
I wait for further advice.

bro..i dont think ur gona get a platz in this budget, not evn in crap condition..a 99 platz wud cost u arnd 6.5 plus..i suggest go for a 2001 vitz in good condition..its almost same, a bit lighter yet really comfy

please stop thread crapping and give some reasons before giving stupid comments..pls tell me is city a good lookign car ? is liana a good looking car ? i support platz not cus i have it ( i have a vitz ) but because its one of the best in its class..it outclasses city/liana/xli in almost ev aspect other than a huge frame and resale..

Thanks for your expert, sincere and firm advice. I have made up my mind for a platz rather than a vitz. Because in vitz, there leaves no enough space for luggage after installing cng kit.

ma advice would be dont buy vitz neither platz...
with 6 lac u can buy a 2001 city or 98 civic...
so these are much better than this...
vitz is too low for paki road.s.....

i think Platz is better if ur lookin for a sedan ...n Vitz aint bad either ....as platz has da same interior as of Vitz.... just dat u mite Get UG Grade Platz Wid Velvet Seats n four head rest n stuff

i sold 2003 Platz for 760 couple of dayz ago
n i sold 2000 platz for 675

so i'll suggest if u can squeez in sum other cash in ur budget u gona find ur car:)

bhai I have seen both cars and have also heard about them. Overall vitz is a better option because spare parts are available much more easily. Many mechanics have now learned the ins and outs of vitz plus resale is also good. Platz is also a good car if you are looking for a budget buy saloon. It is Japan assembled comfortable and spaciuos. But you will certainly lose out on resale if you go for a platz.

I totally agree with you. I have also seen 2004 Platz with crystal lights and stuff. It looks much better than the older versions. It can now be considered a decent car.

as platz and vitz are just like bro and sister......same alike interior........shares the same powerplant 1sz-fe and 2nz-fe....
exteriors are different....as earlier platz was not in so good shape.......but as it now know as Echo...new model has got nice changes.....and awsome...its just like..if you want sedan like vitz.......Platz....a Hatch...A Vitz.......
just you have car with some large room and and its sedan whereas its hatch....

platz is fail on cng because the body is heavy compare with vitz my friend have platz on cng. Cng is not suitable for vvti cars specially for auto tranny. platz is under power according to the weight of the car.

lol...dude think before u post..."not suitable for vvti cars with auto tranny" ..mr.xain has an altis which has an auto tranny plus vvti engine..though its 1.8 but the altis is a very heavy car...his car is performing good..n platz is not underpowered, uve got to be kidding me..it produces 70bhp n weighs 900kgs..now u do the maths though i doubt ud be able to

dude its just my opinion according to my friends car experience which i have drive alot he installed cng from friends with all emulator and advancer but the vvti engine has oxygen sensor which helps car to breath due to cng installation the system disturbed and after 2 month the oxygen sensor got burned now he have to install new sensor from toyota cost him 6000 rupees and now he remove the cng kit from it. hey let see what happens to u after installing cng kit. i guess friends cng is a best installer in town he cant help my friend regarding platz. can anyone help u.

dude 14 inch rim is suitable for platz my friend put in his platz and the ride is still smooth if u increase the size of rim to 15 inch rim the car ride get hard and give a load on suspension.
