Dear Experts,
Need you help here, Actually from couple of weeks i feel a lit bit play in my ALTO steering, My car's milage is 28K and its OCT-2009 Model.
Looking for your kind view about it,
Thanks
Dont know technically, but they change 6 rubbers near the front tyres, connecting steering rod to tyres
Suzuki guys changed 6 rubbers Connecting steering rod to tyres.. Those rubbers must be changed after 25k
It can be due to the following 2 reasons:1. The internal rack support bushing of the steering rack has given away.2. The rack gear/'kangi' rod has given away. The second scenario is highly unlikely because ur car is just 25K driven. So the bushing might be the culprit. I had a same issue with my Alto but the culprit in this case was some damper or caliper in the rack. It was replaced with a new one from some "kabli" rack. And Allhamdoulillah all the play is gone.
