Please help: which Chinese generator should I buy?

aoa brothers, i want to buy a 2kv or 2.5kv generator for our two bedroom apartment.i have no knowledge about generators,so please gentlemen help me out.i want to run it mainly on gas but petrol too.so far i have heard loncin and jasco are good.please tell me a generator with the following:

-copper wiring?
-price with gaskit and battery?
-monthly average expenditure on generator(fuel,maintenance etc)
-dealers number?
-please identify the model numbers too
btw i live in clifton karachi, plz bear that in mind

Jasco is a good choice but built quality of chinese generators are so pathetic. Why don't you consider buying a Honda generator?

been using crownlifan... no big problem so far... generator is noisy though... hondas are quiter and a lot more expensive..

Runs on Gas/Petrol

Costs about Rs.310 per month on a 1 liter motor oil change for maintenance. I swap the spark plug every 2 months too. Nothing else, I can think of at this time. Cost me around Rs. 70,000 a year ago. Brand new.

If you can afford something better then go for a used Briggs & Stratton. Those American machines are built tough to last a lifetime.

In chinese brand, loncin and Zongshen are fine. some days ago i saw a new generator (sun dynamic) which was looking very good according to bulit quality and new shape. shopkeeper told me this is Japanese brand made in china.i have also heared that most brand are fake and shopkeeper just adhere the sticker on it using any name therefore taking the loncin or Zongshen, make sure to avoid fake one. even I saw one shape of generator which was available at mostly shops having different names (greenmax, Tokai, goldmax etc), infact this gen is made by lutian company which is cheaper in price but quality is not bad though but not good as Loncin and Zongshen. infact i am using the same from 1 years and working fine but little but rarely problem of tunning etc. in branded Aksa (turkish brand), Yamaha (china made), OES (cummins) are fine.

I bought a 2.5 KV Sanco Generator from sikandar and co, Near New chali , they said its price is 37800 but finally they gave me that in 36000 with gas kit and batter, its on wheel trolley with red color, i read on various forums that its is the best among chinese generators. Althoug many persons are preferring Jasco, but i came to know that Loncin is better than Jasco, Loncin is also around 10 k cheaper as compare to JAsco, but Sanco is the best among them. one more thing to be noted is that try to ask the Sikandar and co to send thier technician with you to install the Generator in your place in the buing package deal, as that is the hectic job to find the proper technician, i had to wait three days for the right technician, Technician/Electrician usually ask for 1500 to 2000 rupees for the installation, and they dont do the gas line work but they got your generator started on petrol, one more thin, is that buy the Electric Selector/switch over by your self, as it cost around 300 rupees but one of the Electrician while givine me the estimate said that Switchover/selector cost 2000. he was trying his luck in wrong place so i got various estimates and insalled the generator by the other Technician/Electricain. Never buy the electronics supplies wires , selectors etc from the Electrician stated shop as all the Electrician has commission agreement with these shops, just ask the list of Electric supplies etc from the electrician and then send some one else to buy the items or go by yourself that way you would save nearly 3000 rupees

I think OES generators are doing very good. I personally bought a 3kv OES generator last July and still running without any problems Alhamdolilah, though i am running it on ONLY PETROL
