Guys, I'd rather use a 660 or 800 cc car, instead putting CNG in my car. For me CNG is like a bomb in the car.
Above all, thanks to the import of Hybrid cars. Best alternative to CNG. I drive a Toyota Prius and average fuel consumption within city with A/c is 19.5km/L. With a tank of 45liters I can travel more than 850km within city and more than 1050km on highway. Estimated fuel average of Rs. 4-5 per Km based on current price of Rs. 105/L.
I believe that Hybrid is an excellent and wise choice. And you do not have to line up at CNG late night or keep the Open/Close schedule of CNG. Again, it has been in the news that CNG will shut down gradually.
To the best of my knowledge, Toyota is launching 21 new Hybrid models in next two years. Good thing is Corolla Hybrid is also in the line. I hope that Indus Motor (Habib Group) will bring Hybrid Corolla to Pakistan. If they don't then I hope car import remains open and we could have out dream cars. At-least imported cars are way better in quality and features than a local sub standard corolla, where NO SAFETY TEST EVER CONDUCTED.
