Please suggest family car in 30-35 lakh budget

AOA Dear PakWheelers,

Kindly suggest me a good family car with following requirements

Family car (Sedan)
Economical (both Maintenance cost and fuel consumption)
Budget is 30-35 lakhs
95% of my drive is within Lahore
Looking forward for good suggestions.

Which one of the following is better choice?
* Honda Civic Rebirth 2015-2016 Model
* Toyota Prius 2012-1013 Model
* or any other?

Basically I"m confused between Rebirth and Civic, Prius fuel aconomy and features really attract me but I am not sure if mechanics in Lahore can properly maintain or repair it? Buy kartay waqt properly inspect kaisay karwaon? HV battery and ABS etc

Rebirth is also good car but fuel aconomy is not so good.

I would to hear any other option as well.

Look into a corolla 2016 altis 1.6, or a 2014 grande. It full fills all your categories

I currently have 9th gen Civic and had one in past as well, its giving 11.5-12 within city driving. Maintenance is also cheaper i.e oil, oil filter, air filter, ac filter, gearoil etc, also this generation doesnt have known faults such as steering rack or AC evap like in Civic X. Prius also has ABS bimari which costs alot along with Hybrid battery replacement. Most you see below 100k mileage are meter reversed as well and possibly accidented from Japan/scrap maal. Grande pre facelift is a very comfortable and practical option, prefer the 2016-2017 immobilizer ones which also have climate control and new speedo with MID.

I have heard that fuel average of Altis don't go beyond 10 km/l in city. It is true ? Also heard a bad thing about suspension that it is soft so feels good but goes bad soon from time to time and repair cost is high?

Your 9th Gen Civic is Auto/Prosmatec or Manual? because 11.5-12 km/l within city seems quite good.

I had a grande as well as a 1.6 altis. Drove both for over 70k kms. Both did 12 local, 15 long. Never had to touch the suspension on both of them, and I drove them all around, never cared about terrain. Corolla is the best way to go

Prosmatec, its just 53k driven and timely maintained

So what I get is both Altis 2014 and Rebirth 2015 are equally good? What about Prius ?

Altis is more roomier, and comfortable as compared to a rebirth. Prius is jdm and hybrids are a hoax, too over priced at this point in time
