You can go for either brand new PKDM Suzuki Wagon R, 1000cc engine, MT... or in used JDM cars, any 660cc car with CVT, which is "Market ki Gari" (Daihatsu Mira, Move, Suzuki Wagon R, Alto, etc. To name a few)

I was discussing with a careem captain and he said that local wagon R is more suitable option as compared to imported one. He was driving a Mira though.

On being asked the reason, he was of the view that even for some engine part you have to go to mechanic, he takes that part apart then you have to roam around kabar / kabli market for that part and you get that expensive used component to mechanic and afterwards he charges you a premium for working on imported vehicle.

Whereas new Wagon R is maintenance free for a considerable time and in case of body damage, one can easily get new parts from dealership or local market, both are cheaper than imported used parts for 660 cc vehicles.

As for mileage, few captains reported 16 - 18 kmpl for Wagor R and 18 - 20 kmpl for good condition imported CVT 660 cc vehicle.

In careem/UBER business, expensive car does not give you higher profits.

1 car on driver, be it 4 lac or 12 lac worth, gives ~20-25k max monthly. So invest 4-5 lac on mehran.

Why spend 12 lacs, when 4-5 lac Mehran is giving similar monthly profit as 12 lac car?

Now winter is coming so there will be less damand for Go cars with AC.

These drivers ruin the cars, so giving them NEW car is not suitable.

In my opinion 660cc cars are meant for home use grocery car. School pickup.

These cars are not fit for commercial running. The careem/uber 660cc cars struggle to climb the smallest of the bridges.

For such Pakistani WagonR does the job you can replace the car every 12 months in hardly under 1 lack. Or else at least look for a toyota passo

The car saves aproxx 2000 plus fuel daily.

2000 x 25 = 50,000
50,000 less driver 25,000 less 10,000 car maintenance and replacement cost. (120,000) annually.

Net saving comes 15-20,000 a month. If you drive the car your self you can save around 60-70 thousands a month. And less all other costs replacing the car etc.

A mehran doesnt save as much a new Wagonr both cars run in differnt categories and different rates.

For example a Corolla on business is charged 20rs / km similar car is charged 15 rs/ km on go plus.

You cannot drive a 3 year old car on business cars.

That's true, but In price of 1 Wagon R or a big car, one can have 2-3 Mehrans on Mini and that will earn 2-3 times more than one big car or wagon R. That's my point.

Same investment amount, but 2-3 times more profit.

5 lac investment = 1 Mehran = 20k profit
10 lac investment = 2 Mehrans = 40k profit
15 lac investment = 3 Mehrans = 60k profit.

Now 1 car with 12-15 lac value, on Go+ or Business is not going to make 60k monthly.

Majority of people use Mini or Go after all.
