Please suggest! Thinking of buying USED Liana?

AOA to all dear members!

Fellows, I need to upgrade to a 1,300 cc car with a budget between 11.500 to
13.00 Lacs….

So far I have been looking for Honda City and Toyota XLI 2007
to 2009 shape/model. The issue is that, XLI ads, nearly 100% are of cars driven
to their absolute extremes 300,000+ etc. and most of them look in bad shape.

Honda City, well this particular (above) problem is not that
prevalent, however most units have crossed 150k to 200k in KM.

Anyway, I was thinking of buying a Liana (used) in this budget…
seems models 2013 or near to that are available which have not been driven that
much (comparing to the above stated models).

What do you guys suggest? Would Liana be a feasible choice for
used car? Can we get mechanical parts etc. easily of this model? Parts like
suspension, engine parts etc. side mirrors etc. etc.

Really need honest advice from your brethren, I myself &
my family, both will be thankful for any sincere advice.

Also, kindly also guide that how durable & powerful is
Suzuki Liana’s engine? What is the MAXIMUM any one of you has clocked on it without
it running into trouble..?

Go for a good Honda City. Avoid Liana.

engine, suspension, etc, sab parts available hain iskay aor maintenance bhi kafi reasonable hai.

City is much better than Liana. Even Baleno was better than Liana, but that too is discontinued after 2005, so a good baleno is hard to find, plus its parts are not easily available.

Liana is a stroke of luck. If you find a good piece, its a far better car then Corolla and city. But more often than not, it's a no azaab to keep one.

i think go for liana. reasons behind this are
1.it is most cheapest among all 3.
2. you can find low milage car in this budget.
3. parts are much cheaper than corolla and city.
4. the car which have already dirved 200k or 300k. it have many problems and it will take your almost 1lac extra to be fit and for comfortable ride. on the other hand if you purchase low budget liana then this will be manage in the same budget. i am driving this car since 2 years. no problem at all.
5.liana engine can easily be replaced and as low as just 35 thousand including labour if you find any problem in engine. but city and corolla are much expensive and car which have already dirved 200k, any thing can happen.
liana engine price 25 to 35.
complete gear box 7 to 10 thousend
complete suspension repair cost is almost 20 thousand.
complete suspension replace cost with new parts is almost 50 thousand.
electrical parts cost same as corolla and city.
fuel average in city ares with ac is 9 to 11 and without ac is 10 to 12 easily and on long route it give easily 15 to 17 as depend on your driving habits.
try to find lxi variant which have ABS. you can save your money and can enjoy much more comfortable ride than corolla or city.
only problem is resale. but you can sale your now a days on the price on which you purchased.
i have corolla and liana both and all sharing is on my personal experience.

Suzuki liana is a great car compared to other in same price bracket. I'm a fan of Suzuki liana vurv eminent as i keep one.
Finding a clean liana is only possible if you get a 2009+ model.

Lxi, eminent are best choices... Just a small piece of advice. Always install genuine parts and maintain it once for 3-4 years then liana is a great car but if you think you will spend money in chunks to keep it well maintained then its impossible.

Liana is a much better car than the old Corolla and City. most of the people will not agree with this but the fact is that when Liana launched with all sensors and abs brakes and other features at that time then paki Corrola and city users didn't heard and experienced such things and our jahil mechanic badsha didn't have experience of repairing such things. so they failed the car. I have a new Yaris, City, and Alto but still haven't sold my beloved Liana. especially the seats' ergonomics, the lumber support, and the angle, which most of the new paki cars still didn't have.
