Please suggest what automatic car one should buy for a school going lady teacher in low price range cars with minimum maintenance and good fuel efficiency?
Honda Life, Alto & Mira could be a good option?

Kia Picanto a year or 2 used checks all boxes for you, You wont find anything in that price range, a 2020 Picanto can be found in around 23/25 lack budget.

Alto and mira are good ones. An alto G1 or G2 or mira which are around 2006-7 models would cost about 1.2-1.5 million.

But almost all would be beaten like an egg omelette then further destroyed by jugaar ustaad, lecktrishann, sarviss tayshunn, driver hazraat etc etc.

What the new owner will end up with is a basket of scrap parts needing to be fixed up or repaired or replaced.

Because they can supply parts and support for those parts for any type of owner, be it a jugaaro used car salesman wannabee, senior citizens, men, women etc

One can choose to buy a used jdm piece of scrap from japan which has gone through tens of owners and hundreds of short cut mechanics and finally the owner has to be an expert scrap hunter to find spare parts for it

Similar with buying a cheap and heavily used local made car from a wannabee used car salesman with buzzwords like “untouch, jenwin, shower, army officer, etc etc.” on repeat.

How abt PSMC doesn't even import or manufacture parts of discontinued altos and mehrans??? For example We can't find carburetors even in scrap yards, end up buying a non-compatible chinese ones... The new altos will be old sooner or later and hence imagine the scenario.. the problem is not parts availability, its all about running period of pkdm vs the whole worlds manufactured vehicles, lets say 5 years for instance, dozens of warranty claim for pkdm, while according to suneel munj "jdm just need periodical maintenance and they are undestructable". You can't find Fx from 80s Fx and rusted 90s but plently of corollas of 80s and even 70s still running.

I am neithet defending JDMs, nor a die hard fan. I agree parts availability is an issue ofcourse with most of the makes and models, but keep in mind the running period and claims required....

BTW pkdms mostly end up in radi wala, thaana or kharcheri in their after life, whereas jdms dismantled and shipped to third world countries like ours or africa thats where their parts came till the import ban in 2022.

a carburettor doesnt require replacement! - it requires overhaul/rebuild (which suzuki sells as individual parts, its in their parts catalogs (such catalogs are not owned by shopkeeepers - and showroom parts guys know that the customer is basically wasting time because he/she wont be buying an idle jet for Rs 3000/ or a needle assembly for Rs 4500 etc etc.. Its customers own fault for hiring plumbers and carpenters moonlighting as car mechanics - and then come online to complain "Pakistani cars are shitt mannn!!! - JDM ftw"

same awaam disconnects ATF cooler lines from their new radiator because the new one was from a manual box car - replace the autobox with scrapyard similar looking item because its burnt and then complain "ye wala maadil fail hai bhai - 76 daatsun ki kya baat thee"

No its not customers own fault, the suzuki 3s have not been able to rebuild the carb... its a fact... After all they sell us crap uncompatible ricco carbs which won't work more than a month...
