No, he might also have no document except bank authority letter to drive the car and Registration slip or smart card. There might be few other documents which show room generally provides at the time of delivery.
But he will not have original file and invoice as it will be in bank custody.

My suggestion will be to not buy that car as legally he cannot sale that car until he cleared all dues with the bank. After completion of 5 years the car has to be cleared by him and bank will only issue NOC to him not to you as your sale deed has no legal standing becuase you are already doing something which is not allowed by the bank

If he is someone in close family or relative then you can just take the car but not from the market as 5 saal bad phir original owner ko hi clear karwani parea ge. Allah knows 5 saal bad kia suratea hal hoti hai
