Polish brake drums

hi guys yesterday i took my new corolla to a mechanic for brake issue cuz brakes are nt that good so he told me to polish the drums so my question is does polishing brake drum actually helps in new and old car and its advised to polish drum of new car only driven 10000km

I seriously do not get that mechanic...
Please elaborate what problem you are facing in actual with the brake system?

brake tite nahe lagte loose lagta han any was my question is does polishing a drum increase performance of brake

it does help but only when da drums have got uneven inner sides..... nd tat happen after thousands of miles..... groves are formed by use of cheap break shoes..... being a new car tat should'nt be da case..... check da inside od the drums by moving ur finger to feel ny groves.... if there are groves then u will have to get them treated for it... but da fact tat its only 10k km driven is strange......
