Polish Marks on mudguards

Hello,

Could someone please help me? I tried to be smart and applied polish to the mudguards of my Corolla Cross. Now, despite wiping them several times, the polish marks won’t come off. What can I do to restore them to their original look?

Was that by hand or machine if it was a machine polish then probably you have burnt the ABS plastic otherwise by hand impossible for a polish to stay on the surface unless you got ultra cheap polish. Better to share pictures please.

This was the wax and I applied by hand only

Try cleaning it with alcohol swab get them from medical store and see it makes any difference.

Buy any plastic trim restorer and apply on these plastic trims. These marks will eventually go.
Some waxes can mask the plastic trims also. Always try on a small corner to check results before applying to complete panel.

And always apply wax on cool paint surface in shade.

Yes trim restorer is what supposed to be used. Mother's Back to black would be good choice.
