Has anyone around here seen That episode of TopGear in which Jeremy Chacha Tested the Enzo Ferrari and he was very VeRy MUCH ANNOYED by iT's DOWNSHIFTS !!

The car didn't allowed a Downshift until iTs RPM reached the Specified Downshifting zone !.... MEANS nO ENGiNE BRAKiNG FoR U DUDE !!

OKAY: Has anyone see FinalGear's epiz in which they Tested Ferrari's and Aston Martins with Pedal Shifters........... MAN NO CAR ENTHUSIAST iN THE WORLD WOuLD LiKE his/her CAR DECiDE FOR WHAT iS WRONG and WHAT iS RiGHT For Him/her !!!!!

People talk of Race cars with Peadl Shifters, ahem ahem Does'nt these people inderstand that, " RACE CARS DO NOT, i REPEAT DO NOT HAVE LiMiTERS WhiCH OR ElectroniCs THAT WORK AGAiNST THE DRiVerS WILL!!! You can TUNE a RACE CAR FoR As YOU LiKE BUT NoT YouR DaiLy AuTOMATiC!!

For example, i own an Auto ( ALLAH aisaa Din mujhae kabhii na Dikhae ) , and iN the Evening after Work i Decide to have a li'll Fun on ma Daily average TrACk, hhmmm lemme think should i press the pedal to the Right to Enjoy or to the Left to Enjoy, LOLzZ!!! I MEAN WHAT IS THIER iN an AUTO THAT WOULD ALLOW ME a DAiLY NORmAL CAR FREAK TO ENJOY !!!!! NOTHING !!!!! JUST DriViNG straight and FAST DOeSn'T MeanS Enjoyement!!!!! i MEAN i CANT CHANGE EvEn a Single GEAR ON MY OWN !!!! iT's Like PLAYING MiDTOWN MADNESS!!! LMAO!!!!!!!

Prosmatec is a dick-slow car in terms of sheer driving experience. (no offence to owners)

Hondas don't have as techie transmissions as Toyotas and Mazdas.

The 1.6 VTi manual will beat the Prosmatec.

BUT

1.6 SE Saloon AUTO beats SE Manual.
1.6 AUTO CVT Lancer beats the 1.6 Lancer Manual.

In short, we're reaching a point where Automatics are taking control over manuals in performance.

Of all the local cars produced, the Tranismission of 1.8 Toyota Altis is the best. It too is more responsive than its manual version.

FIRST OF ALL!! MANUAL CARZz RULE!!! and u just cannot replace them with the STUPiD auto tans....

I too hav seen those episodes of TOP GEAR in which JEREMY CLARKSON was driving the ENZO....
Perhaps if u hanvt noticed that the Enzo Ferrari cums with the SEMi-Auto trans... In that particular episode Jeremy tried to downsift the car, BUT THE ELECTRONiCS in the car didn't let him drop the gear until n unless the caqr came under 8200 rpm....which ofcourse is THE ENZOs REDLiNE! Enzo is not the only car which performs this way! ive seen LAMBOz and Astom martins too on TOP GEAR which too didnt down shift as a normal MANU car!!

FURTHER MORE WEN u say that lancer CVT is better than manual, if i m not mistaken, u are definatley talking abt STRAIGHT LiNE DRAGS!!
DUDE, the world doesnt start and end on DRAG RACES!! I CAN ASSURE us if u bring the same car with diff tans. the manual will over rule the automtic on the circiut!

STOP TALKING LiKE 2 year old and think MAN!!! that the auto is faster than manu.... DRAG RACES ARE USELESS.....a drag race doesnt tell u ne thing abt the performance of the car... its how thec car performs on the CiRCiUT which matters the most!

Take the ENZO pf example....
sure the 6.0L 660BHP V12 engine gives u a 0-62 of 3.4secs....
but on the circiut it is the same as F40, and less FUN to drive just because of the manu trans...
Not to forget that the F40's 3.0L 478BHP TT V8 engine gives u a 0-62 of 3.8 secs!!
If the Enzo is better than the F40, its just becuase of the diff set of tyres.... THE ENZO OFFCOURSE has slicks, whereas the F40 dosnt!!

ABOVE ALL!! MANUAL CARS ARE DEFINATELY MORE FUN TO DRIVE!!

WELL SAID TAUSEEN! "MIDTOWN MADNESS" LoLZz!!

Well, if you consider the demand, luxury & comfort, auto transmission is the answer...! But, as we already discussed that manuel tranny is matchless & that´s true...! People all over the world are buying & preferring auto tranny...! Down here, even the big busses & heavy duty truck are auto...! There are some brands & models that are not offering manuel tranny anymore...! Shortly, auto tranny will be common all over but don´t worry manuel is not dying, fans like us won´t let it die...!

I m against automatic performance! Wen one thinks of a Q45, well its a 4door LUX. sedan! U could go for an auto trans.... I admit auto is luxury.... but it just cannot beat the manual in any sphere of life!

BTW i ain't against manual trans n wud prefer buyin a manual car but what i tried to say was that auto trans aint bad at performance.

For example.....

My auto LC can challange the same dunes the same way a manual LC can, but the inability to shift at will is a bit depressin but other wise its gud.

Jeremy drove Nick Mason's Enzo. He himself said that Enzo's gearbox is one of the best and no other car can rival it in terms of sheer excitement.
While on the OTHER hand, he said the Aston Martin Vanquish S's trannys was the most stupid and didn't downshift when needed. You're wrong here.

I've been on PakWheels way before you starting using internet. The mental level of people i've seen here isn't beyond drags. Assuming you one of them, i quoted drag examples.

The ground reality is, Autos are again much much faster than manual on tracks. All day long you've been saying Manual will rule over this, manual will rule over that.

I've driven more cars for real than the number of dinkies you've played with.

Moreover, you're wrong again as the official 0-100 of Enzo is 3.65s and that of Ferrari F40 is 3.2s.

Ferrari F40 is not better because Jeremy likes one. Its better because it is from the power crazy time with no electronic gizmos and it has a light weight chassy.
Supercars today are much more safer and nimbler on track. In this way Jeremy also likes the Jag XJ 220 which people loathe.
