Bro, I had a car last year, it was a 2002, Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V...! One of the best cars, I ever had...! That car had a 6 speed manuel gearbox...! I loved that car & I smoked a Porsche Boxster in that car...!
Remember that Boxster´s time to 1/4 mile is 15.3 sec & my SE-R was used to do it in 14.9 sec (stock car/no mods)...! Check the pics...!

Since most of the people here are visually impared, and take it for granted that as i haven't replied for 2 or 3 days so i lost.

Majority of people here don't even read previous replies and just read the last page before posting.

I take this as offensive, and this in turn, made me comments offensive too.

SAABi, your comments make others look as if they are riding a dick if their car is an automatic.

I, again m not wrong! Manual cars rule! they will rule which ever technology u bring! OKAY i admit they mite be the fastest on the track, But their are other manual cars that mite be as fast as them. These new F1 Pedal style'd cars might b quick, but they can never b as thrilling as a MANUAL car! Just think of it yrself yaar! While driving a manual car, yr whole body is wrking with the car.... Where as in these cars (triptronic) yr one foot is left useless! Now i wont go saying ne thing further, otherwise ill b classified OFFENSIVE!

I still do not feel AUTOMATIC cars replacing Manual cars, and might as well never feel that way!

The 996 Turbo is an amazing car and as far as the trans. is concerned I would much rather have the manual.

The sequential manual cars are even more fun to drive than the manual cars. Btw, has anyone checked the specs on the 997 Turbo? The Tiptronic is actually faster than the manual, I was quite surprised.

Automatics can handle a great deal of power but they take the fun out of driving, no matter how much power you have.
Here are a couple examples, I've driven both the BMW M3 (E36) and the Pontiac GTO with manual and automatic trans. The M3 is a fun car to drive with the manual but the automatic completely ruined the car, i'd much rather have a 325i with a stick than an auto M3. And the same goes for the GTO, the manual was a lot of fun, especially with the 400hp engine but the auto just sucked. There is no fun in just mashing the throttle and not being able to hear the rev-limiter, hehe.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I must say that enthusiasts who love to drive cars prefer manual over automatic.

Bro, I´m in Dominican Republic. I did tried with a brand new Lancer RalliArt...! I won, but I was ahead with just 3-4 feets...! That lancer is nice & fast & the owner is better driver than me...!
We were 4 inline, Me with Sentra, Zia with Lancer, 1 local guy with Neon SRT-4 & an Indian guy with IS300...! Me & Zia ended up 1st & 2nd & than IS & than Neon was last...!
