Poor/ bad petrol consumption of carby/ non-efi cultus 07

My Cultus 07 carby is giving hardly 7km/ltr on petrol within city without AC. On Cng the average is around 15km/kg in city without AC. Already have tuned the carburetor and changed butterfly. Experts please guide me how to improve the mileage on petrol.

There are a lot of things the affect the mileage dear. Servicing the Carb is just one of the things, it is a 10 Year old car and mileage tends to reduce after the passage of usage unless properly used and maintained

You are right brother its an old model and should have low mileage but 7km/ltr is too bad. Pl guide about other possible reasons. Tires are new, i shift gears on 2.5k rpm, change oil/ filters at 3000km

Location where you drive and traffic situation?
I have 2001 model and getting 14 to 15 avg in my cultus in city of islambad mostly im alone and drive patiently... Have changed my car assembly recently...
What engine oil are you using.
Reason of my mileage
Islamabad with low rush
Mostly alone or with 1 person
Car is well kept recently replaced assembly with sealed engine
No CNG from 1st day 2001
So im getting 15 right now.
One of the reason of low mileage is CNG hence you cannot tune a carb car both on cng and petrol...

your cultus probably missing its thermostat valve, install thermostat valve and use tyre size 155.80.13 your cultus average will increase significantly.

I’ve Cultus VXRi2007. Its fuel consumption was 13KM/Litre on petrol & 25KM/KG on CNG. But now I’m having 7KM/Litre for few months. When I drive my car on CNG, quantity of petrol present in the tank goes to an end automatically before consuming quantity of CNG. For example, petrol of Rs.1000 consumes before consuming CNG of Rs.400 when I drive on CNG. In this situation, I get a strange CNG+Petrol average below 7KM. Against this, I left using CNG, tuned my car totally, installed a new butterfly, air filter change, oil change, cleaned the radiator but the average is still 7KM. I’ve visited many auto workshops but no one have diagnosed the real car problem. Last year a mechanic removed thermostate in order to increase AC performance, is this happening due to missing thurmostate? Pls guide me.
