Can anybody let me know, where the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) is located in Honda City Exsi Model 2000.
all PCVs r located in tappet cover .. look for a pipe ending into wide circular plastic body (in tappet cover).. remove pipe and pull pcv out .. try looking near the inlet manifold .. if still not there check near the oil filter area
Thanks for a prompt reply. Can I easily find in local market, I want to change these how many are there, is it 4 ?You mean I have to open head cover to expose the PCV ?
no ..only one pcv .. air blows outwards .. check for blockades .. if it has sludge and blocked .. use carb cleaner spray .. if it rattles it is good .. cleaning will make it work
Thanks a lot
just for reference .. this is civic pcv
got that, my car is consuming a lot of oil and 2 outer plugs are getting extra black looks ring is damaged.
could be .. get a compression reading .. if under limits then complete overhaul or swap is recommended
