But maintenance costs money, and good maintenance costs more. Blaming only the ustaads is not enough when the owners themselves try to cut corners and costs, only to pay more in the long run.

Xulfiqar was spot on because everyday a new Oil thread pops up despite the fact that there are already hundreds of similar threads on the forums. And then there are other many repetitive discussions. Honestly, it is the stamina of senior members to respond to these endlessly.

Secondly, people throw multiples of thousands of bucks on tasteless dinners at restaurants (after which, usually one ends up with digestive disorders), and their ladies are roaming around in malls carrying bags and bags of designer clothing. But these same people don't want to spend a penny on car maintenance. So naturally, old cars on our roads are mostly seen in neglected condition.

a great thread after very long time. Keep up the good work sir i am also sick n tired of these new kids making oil threads and having papa's money and cant decide what piece of shit they want to buy. and than those who are here to show ustaadian and know a shit about how things work and giving idiotic answers to senior members who have more experience of cars than their whole age.

A couple of observations about EGTs:

1. Despite the fact that engine has to work harder in snow, EGTs remain a bit low most likely due to cool and dense air going in the air intake.

2. With air conditioning in summers EGTs climb quickly (more than what I observed without a/c). Most likely reason is more fuel going in the mixture to run a/c.

Although, in both of above conditions differences in EGTs are not of day and night, still these require cautious driving, sometimes.
