i think your laptop's integrated card cant process a technique thats used in far cry engine.. post a screenshot of far cry's invisible ground..

Finally got the F430 and here it is .. completely stock right now ..

Also downloaded the nissan car pack which gave me this ..

And here is the car which i modified to the peak and even tweaked it a bit .. it's P.I is 947

2.0 Core2Duo
1GB DDR2
945 GCCR Intel
XFX GeForce 8500GT 512MB

its 1 year old PC. Does it require upgrades or it can play all games? If upgrade is required then in short what upgrade?

your board has two limitations..
1) it doesnt support RAM speed of more than 533MHz
2) it has PCI 1.0 and any card that needs PCI 2.0 will not work

get 2GB Dual Channel DDR2
get any graphic card, according to your budget, that requires PCI 1.0

as @Wheels2go said, 2GB RAM and new card is the minimum you ought to do..
