The difference arises as to how you ride a bike. I disagree about cg's unreliability. CG's were designed to be rugged maintenance free bikes for low economy countries.
By a general visual comparison see how pridor's are being ridden and how cg is ridden by people. Small wheel base, a chassis which was built around the engine and with 17'' rear tyre cg's acceleration automatically forces people to ride it or rather abuse it. (Not to mention vibration)
Now when AHL were offering some quality which literally diminished when Euro 2 was introduced people used to ride the same way but there was some quality so it could take the beating now unfortunately it can't. However i still believe that a brand new 2015 model driven with extreme care and proper maintenance can still last.
The clutch plates are an example of what i am trying to say...now here's another shock i am the third owner......the previous two owners no matter how less they rode still used it and it's been with me for an year now. You might have seen many 2012 or 2013 models whose clutch plates have been replaced than how is it that mine are going great ??
The reason is that i make minimum use of clutch and don't go grabbing on it on slopes etc..and we can assume the previous owners also made less or normal use of clutch and didn't do any dragging etc....so the plates are lasting as they are suppose to.
