Power windows for Cultus

I want to install power windows in my cultus VXR cus im sick of the manual roll down ones..they have become hard and difficult to operate. Any ideas as to where can I get them installed from and how much will it cost? Also can I get the genuine VXL style power windows? Any recommendations? BTW im from Lahore. Thx.

1. Contact suzuki wallas, if the deal is reasonable, stick to it.

Hmm...I didnt know that Suzuki dealers deal in modifications also. Are you guys sure about that? Anyways I'll check on it. Thx for your help.

Suzuki walas will be expensive look for some private guy he will do it much cheaper. I think it should easily be done inb 8000 because power windows for corolla cost 10000.

stick to the roll down ones coz our ultimate symbol of luxury and attitude in Pakistan Toyota Corolla XLi also has roll down windows

on a serious note, its hard to find bolt on fit power windows kit and if suzuki walas are able to arrange it for you, it will be damn costly. search for kabaar thoroughly and try to find a suitable solution

get the assembly and channels aligned properly, mechnism will become smooth.
btw u can get power windows from suzuki as well as from open market in reasonably fair price.

In old market you might get the power window assembly worth Rs.1200/= each and after some patchwork with your existing system and the assembly will be installed. Donot go for a cheaper motor as they will not last long.

BTW every cultus i have seen has a problem with WIndow channel alignment.
I fixed one myself coz it beloinged to fiance of a very good friend
Its assembled in a horrible way but it has a cure, and i fi can do it, anyone can do it.

last time, i remember, i was fixing this thing in a friend's FX and suddenly out of nowhere seen 2-3 dogs running towards me, all i managed to do, jumped inside the car and run away, so be careful before intro urself as a helping hand. lol

btw, this incident is true and happened in ch. sch 3.

Buddy....i understand.....but its sort of luxury..........
if you are getting power window which is running on Cable(Twisted Wire like accelerator etc)...so plz don't go for that...In my Sunny....it makes much problem.......wire broken and whole mirror down.........wire life was mostly max 1 years.......so i think the manual ones are best...........try making them softer by greasing them....if you are getting power windows like New Corolla have....its like machine running on teeths like manual but operated with power motor...so yeah go for that.......
Cable Tyre Power Mirror is not good...specially karachi......dust makes it worse.........so it jamns...causes load on both motor and wire....result.......cable broke.....motor carbons worn....and speed becomes much slow.......
ask rates from some aftermarket convertors....PS takes much more than genuine price.....

BTW i am intrested also to change my cultus windows to make them power. Anyone have info how much it cot at suzuki workshop ?
