Thank you Sohail and SpeedDemon,
Its been a while since you replied but I sold my car soon after so didn't took any option.
Currently, I have a Mira and I wanted to upgrade its sound system. For woofer, I thought it would be prudent for under-seat active woofer as I didnt want to occupy the trunk (which is already very tiny).
I installed Pioneer Ts-Wx210A which is a 150W 8 inch active subwoofer. I am very satisfied with the sound quality of the woofer which is easily adjustable as well. The only issue is that anyone sitting on the passenger seat will have to bear with the vibrations as the woofer fires straight upwards towards in to the passenger seat. It won't impress many people but it gives a nice rhythm.
For speakers, I intentionally didn't go for components but chose coaxials, I do like that components creates sound stage at ear level, which is good for music listening but is a slightly hazardous from driving point of view as much of the traffic sound gets blocked and you may not be that aware of your surroundings. Safety is first priority. But the issue is that the door speaker slots in Mira are too far cramped towards the feet that I think most of the dedicated frequency of right channel is lost and does not reach the ear in case of coaxial. My speakers are Soundstream sstv2 6.5 which have adjustable tweeters (you can change their direction) but I don't think it gives much relief. I wonder if there is any alternate way of placing the speakers.
Anyways, next I hope to upgrade the player to a branded one and install sound dampening in front doors. Later, I intend of installing components in rear doors (I am not sure about the placement of its tweeters but we will see).
