Prado 2000 , 3400cc Petrol VS 3000cc DIesel

HI Guys
I am planning to buy a Prado 2002 3400cc petrol or 3000cc Diesel.
Which one is better in terms of performance, Fuel Consumption, Reliability etc.

And what sort of price I am looking at for these particular Larees.

Have a 97 Prado 1KZ. Havent faced any problems. Its powerful. Local Average with AC is around 5-6km/l and long is around 7-7.5km/l. My foot is a little heavy so these figures might vary for others.

Have driven a 2003 prado with the 3.4 v6. In terms of acceleration it is better than the diesel one. But personal preference would be for the diesel variant
