Prado 2018... 2nd Facelift Rumoured

Was strolling through the internet and don't know if its authentic or not, Current Generation Prado maybe receiving its 2nd facelift. First one being in 2013 and now this. Anyone with authentic news or more images, please share

Looks good but let's see if it actually looks good on ground. The lights somewhat resemble with new LC. I was thinking of face lifting my Prado but if this one actually comes then I'll wait and go for this one. I wonder if interior has also been revamped or not. 2013 interior only had a few cosmetic changes not a major update like LC.

To be honest, I always tried to digest the interior. That central area looks like an old community water tank placed at the top.

Could never completely accept it. Its too high for no reason and looks like a design flaw. Feels to be an afterthought that they forgot to give space for multinmedia system and then put it along with centre vents in a hurry at the top.

In termsof interior dashboard design the previous model was much superior in my opinion.

150 Prado's interior looks hideous, that navigation screen and AC vents bulging out from dash looks ugly. Its been 8 years, Instead of facelifts, they should be releasing new model with complete redesign.

Fortuner interior looks much better than 150 Prado.

You just spoke out my mind. The centre part of Prado looks like a community water tank tower. Previous model had a far superior dashboard instead.

Exactly. After driving 120 Prado for so long, when I first looked at the interior of 150 Prado, I was totally unimpressed, the design is too boxy and unrefined.

J70: (1990–1996) - 6 Years in Production
J90: (1996–2002) - 6 Years
J120: (2002–2009) - 7 Years
J150: (2009–present) - 8 Years and we get a facelift?

Facelift at this point means Toyota plans to keep this design for many more years.

Toyota Japan has become a facelift company. LC is also the same since 2007 end and its already 10 years with 2 facelifts. Same case with Vitz, 2nd facelift on the way since 2011. Premio is another example, 2nd facelift since 2007

This facelift looks very similar to Ford Everest. Lights design is exactly the same. Even the grill has beveled edges at top.

Whatever you say it would still be a hit. I really like 4Runner's design out of all Toyotas, it looks very aggressive specially the North America TRD version. https://www.toyota.com/4runner/
The problem is Toyota has hardly any competition in SUV market in Pakistan as well as overseas.
