In the old shape of 2006 both r fine

the new shape of 2007, feels underpowered in 1500cc.

mechanics say 1.8 is not fuel efficient.. Is that true? Please share your experiences... I need to buy a car, i mean a good car

Bigger engine will produce less fuel efficiency...that is a scientific fact...if you want best fuel efficiency with power get a hybrid...

Sir used Hybrid Pruises in Pakistan are much cheaper than gasoline cars, as they have no resale value. But they are not worth to be bought due to lots of reasons. So I am never going for a used hybrid

You buy a 1.8L for the hoots. You buy a 1.5L car for fuel efficiency.

Get the 1.8 or a 2.0 G superior. Trust me if you do not go hard on the accelerator these cars will give you best fuel efficiency with so much power at hand. While 1.5 Will feel so slugish.

I have a 2.0 G premio 2004 and it gives me better fuel average than the 1.8 X 2009. Mostly it depends on how you drive these cars. The bigger engines are better.

2.0L carries X badge or G badge at the trunk lid?

The 2.0 carries the G badge and 1.8 x badge. And the 1.5 version carries the F badge.

I have attached the 2.0 and 1.8 engine pictures.
The 2.0 version is 2004 model has done almost 180k kms odo. And the 1.8 is 2009 and has done 65k odo.

I have 2 more questions:
1) heard that Premio models 2006 and below are more fuel burners than 2007 and above. Is that true?
2) Why does most of the people remove 4x4 function from the Premios? Does the engine get opened for it?

Bro I’m using a 2004 G Premio since 2010 and it has not given me any problem. I’m just changing engine oil and that’s it. I have driven it over 100k and the engine is still going strong.

Believe me on highway the old 2.0 engine gives me 15-16km/ltr . Which is more or less similar to the new 2008 model 1.8.

And about 4x4, not all Premios are 4x4 and i have not seen one till now. Despite owing 5 premio’s in my family.

I would recommend you to go for Premio, its very spacious and the ride is very comfortable. The built quality is awesome. You will never regret your decision.

Don’t know why there are so many wrong rumours about these beautiful cars.
