Now back to engine etc, all shershah engines are also flooded with the same sewage and rain mix water. The scrappies will sell them by pumping them full of junked oil and claiming 1 no. kabul ka samaan, Gul Khan brand, naswaar grantee wala

If your car sank above dashboard level, engine is least of your worries, your complete wiring, ecu, gauges, modules, hvac, srs unit, seatbelt tensioners, airbags, seats, carpets are damaged/destroyed.

Most modules would be fried as they were connected to battery power

Dear we did a try after changing oil and cleaning the engine after taking out all the water from engine. Belive me my car starts on a half self but a tak tak noice came from engine. All other accessories are working fine. Like there are no issues in wiring music starts play headlights. IndicTors etc. After inspecting my mechanic he said neechey ka block crack ho ke toot gaya hai engine ka and CAM also damaged. To instalation of new engine is necessary. There is no other option.

Let me share a small story with you.

I had my Civic's engine D15Y3 overhauled 2 months back.
The first day, the water jacket/ water channel blew up (Didn't pay anything for it's replacement)
The second day, the radiator got choked. (Didn't pay anything)

We were unable to diagnose what was causing the random heatup. Countless hours were spent at the workshop having done most of the things.
I drove my civic for 2 months with this heatup issue. The issue used to come after driving for 30-40kms nonstop.
I used to get scared when I stopped at a traffic signal because the car would always show that the temperature gauge was going above half (even with the fan direct) and main kalma phar leta tha bas os time.

The final thing that was to be changed was the headgasket. Why? Because that was failing to hold 16psi pressure. Bubbles used to come in the radiator cap. When the head gasket was swapped with a relatively thick gasket, the car never heated again.

The main aim - No one wants to attach a bad name to their work. When a mechanic overhauls an engine according to specification, the end results would be top-notch, heck, maybe even better compared to an engine swap. And you would always have a guarantee. Mechanics prefer swaps over overhaul because of the quick payout and their commissions with scrap engine dealers. Whereas an overhaul pays out in a week almost. And to be honest, itne kaam chor hain hamaray mechanics ke onko overhaul karna ata bhi hoga tou they won't do it.

Pay a little more, get your engine overhauled.
Take a look into the wiring. Swap it out with uncut wiring harness, ecu, fuses and other electrical components that are mandatory for your car to start.

Have you seen the crack in the block? If not then your mechanic is an idiot. The sound you are hearing is most likely bent piston rod hitting in cylinder sleeve. Go find a better mechanic.

The problem of OP's car is that the engine block has been cracked - no amount of overhauling can fix it.

Since the used engines in Shershah have been flooded, the only choice the OP has - besides scrapping the car - is to transport the car up north (Lahore/Islamabad/Peshawar) and get an engine swap there. IMO its not really worth it to get a severely flooded car fixed - insurance companies usually write them off for good reason.

Karachi has flooded worst in recent days. ap sab c pehlay engimw open karvao then samnay ayega k kya masla hai. koi esa mechanic dekho jo is ko b repair rebuild krdrga or new b dalde incase zada tar mechanic kaam chor hote hain and just wanted easy job to replace engine werna sab ban jata hai

Never ever come in gossips of these mechanics. Most of the Lazy mechanics prefer engine swap instead of rebuilding it.. In Karachi, you can easily rebuild it provided you get the right person.

Buy kabli only through reputed mechanic so he can claim guarantee don't buy directly they will cheat you you can't do compression test at site for these engine it has to be connected with ecu

Only cranking engine is enough to take the compression reading. Who said it needed to be connected with ECU. 🤦🏻‍♂️

But believe me no dealer of kabaar will let you do it since they know they are selling you scrapped engine. Why would Japanese scrap a perfectly good car. There is a reason why these cars are dumped to countries like Pakistan, Africa. Either they are accidental or their engines have almost completed their life. So its better to tear them down and sell them to third world countries

By the way due to recent flooding, engines lying in scrapyards were also flooded. So the question is is it okay to swap flooded engine with another flooded engine?

all such JDM scrap cars shall now be permanently scrapped after flooding / sinking found floating after rains in Karachi or anywhere in Pakistan.

auction house scrap car flooded in water going back to scrapyard for parts will be gross stupidity.

Your mechanic is right. 2zrfe cannot go through rebuild process. Firstly the precision needed is not available in Pakistan secondly these engines cannot be bored as they are disposable.
