Premio Fuel Consumption

Hi, I'm using Premio 2002, 1.8L, I haven't noticed it properly but it gives 9.97 km/l with AC on (Highway/City Combine).

Is it a good fuel consumption? I'm concerned it might be consuming more fuel than it should be.

Prices are are high as well.
Petrol is 115.5 RS/Liter

I got petrol of 2000 RS and traveled 175 km on it (Highway and city mixed, 37km might be city with mostly 30 km/he speed).

while your query is for fuel consumption.

if the odometer mileage is over 85000km & genuine 9+ km / liter is very reasonable fuel consumption for an 1800 cc vehicle.

even if engine is consuming oil 1000 ml per 6000+ kms at oil change the fuel avg is just right.

Yes fuel consumption is within the limit. Use Shell or Total engine oil preferably 10W40. Also check the condition of air filter, fuel filter and spark plugs.

Fuel consumption of your vehicle is absolutely fine and more than enough.

Yes it's well driven over 265,000 km according to odometer now.

I'm using havoline synthetic blend imported one but gonna switch back to zic since havo imported isn't available here anymore

keep it well maintained and it will perform flawless for next 135000 more, if cvt fluid have been changed at around 85000 kms.

It is time now to change the Toyota CVT fluid & clean the transmission fluid filter as convenient

I change oil every 4 or 5 thousands kilometers, mostly after 4 thousands kilometers. With new air filter and oil filter.

Premio 2002 aren't CVT, it's ATF transmission brother and I changed gear oil 2 months ago.

I don't like it's peak though, I don't have a hard foot, I let the car go through gears smoothly, someone told me to clean exhaust system and tune up engine.

you may get the cat converter cleaned,

You choose whats best , cat cleaning may improve pickup and approx fuel avg of 1~2 km per litre.
however that cat cleaning may result in engine check light for O2 sensor replacement. -

scrap yard item is cheap but doubtful
