They were dipped in Ice cold water of River Kunhar for some time......

I hate to park in a narrow space.......
people don't care...and open the doors of their cars,hitting the neighboring ones...
Causing small dents on the sides.....
I don't like this ......and always look for an open place to park.....
with peace of mind...

I also agree on this people don't care while opening the door in the parking area after a small dent or scratch is there they only had a word ''SORRY'' but i believe to save other's car's while opening the door if it is parked in some narrow area then in future our car will also be safe.

They have a nice lawn/swings .....

You Know...kids are always attracted towards these kind of places......

The hotel is Fairy Land Hotel and the location is Malakandi just ahead of Paras

This is a beautiful hotel on the way.....Cant recall the exact location....I think Near Paras...some where.....

Any how stopped here to use their wash rooms........ and kids like to play in their swings.....But not for lunch:P....I feel that you should get what ever you want to eat,in front of you......

In hilly areas, there is no sand, as like plain areas of punjab as we dig here and there is sand...

In hilly areas, people collect the sand from rivers like this area for construction of buildings...

After receiving these kind of nice and kind words,each and every minute spent on PC and all the efforts become worthwhile.....
A lot more to go brother....:)....but you know that due to time availability...speed is a little slow.....:(....
Now I come to your question......
You are right that this vehicle is full time 4x4......but the route I followed was straight forward and there was no need of four wheel drive option......
On my return from Naran.....I gave a try to go to the forest of "SHARAH".....a thin and steep road goes to Sharan From Paras....a place almost in the middle of Kewai And Naran.....
That road was quite narrow and steep as I said....and was under construction as well....covered by very small GRAVEL OR KHAKA.....
I felt that 4x4 option was required there.....I also selected "low range" as well...but I feel that this Vehicle is very Big/Heavy/broad for these type of thin /winding roads and U turns.....I went almost upto the half way and returned because My family was not comfortable traveling on that "scarey" Road as left wheels were running right on the edge of the road....:D....
I also have pics of all this and will share with you brothers INSHALLAH.....

Rivers usually are the in the lowest part of any area even in plains or in hills.

The hilly towns doesnt have any sewerage, they all drain sewerage in the rivers...

Thats why, they don't drink river water, but the chashma water....

Waisay tou Murree ma hotels ma jo pani hota ha,, in washrooms wo sara, river jehlum say at Kohala say tanker bhar k latay hain....

I can understand you feelings for mangoes.:)...at your end..
If you come to Pakistan in Summer (not suggested)(A).........then we can have Mango party....

It all varies from person to person......For most of the "Normal" people:),a car is a utility but for "fanatics" like us:D...its a passion....most people don't think about their cars as we do....they don't mind giving and receiving these small dents/scratches on the sides by opening doors....

May be a co-incidence,but when ever we go there,there is hardly any person staying there.....only found people stopping here to use their wash rooms:).But in the above pics,fairly good amount of people seem to be staying here...

This sand is so neat and clean/filtered and thick...we can hardly find in Punjab/Lahore...the sand available here is from Ravi and surrounding contaminated/dirty.....
I feel that population on these hills is so scattered and not very much (like in Kaghan valley) that these big and fast rivers like Kunhar are not "very much " contaminated with their sewerage.....Obviously they are but not to the extent we have here...
I have traveled on Kohala Road along with River Jehlum In this trip and seen the tankers collecting water...will share here INSHALLAH...
