Can we use simple washing powder/surf or shampoo in pressure washer’s foaming bottle to wash car?

Absolutely not. It will ruin the wax on car, damage the clear coat, whiten the trim, will leave residue layer and particles from it can choke the foam lance oriface.

It's recommended to use a ph neutral shampoo i.e 3d nanopail shampoo, koch chemie GSF, Gtechniq Gwash etc

I am using Meguiar's Ultimate Wash and Wax shampoo in my pressure washer since long and have good experience with it.

IMO,

The foamy mess from a pressure washer is not good enough for anything other than a light loose dusting, a bucket and mitt works far better.

I usually use the wash and wax shampoo via washer as last step. I prefer 2 bucket method for soiling and removing dirt. I like this shampoo because of wax which saves you time of waxing after wash.
As dedicated wax I apply collinite 845 every six months.
