There is difference of 500-1000 between V8 and V9.

BTW, it really is a cool looking set. It rocks.

motrola is not user friendly one

2nd i am not aware with its signal quality

3rd v3i is better than razr2 as far style is concerned

Signal strength is a little problematic, i don't know if its my set only all Razr-2's have this issue.

As far as user-friendly goes, most people are familiar with Nokia interface, that is why they find Motorola menu's difficult. However, Motorola has better options in its menu's.

Motorola sets are good....very durable, much more than Nokia (in my experience, at least).

i have never been a nokia fan unless they are really expensive, which i cant afford.
SE was my choice but damn those sets are ugly.

thats why i was thinking of motorola v8/v9.

what is the diff b/w v8 and v9 btw?

V8=fixed memory. straight lines on keypad.
v9=Memory card slot, but 1.6mm thicker than v8. curved lines on keypad.

Once you use it, other sets like N95 will feel like bricks. It has an aluminium/glass chassis, lwhich ooks and feels great.

Plus, not only the set is beautiful, it also makes the user look good....it adds to your persona.

2.2" high resolution external display is touch sensitive, with haptonics (vibrates on finger-touch). It allows you to use all the multimedia functions without even opening the flap! You can even use the camera with flap closed. Plus you can view SMS and receive calls on speaker phone with flap closed. How's that for innovation?

And Motorola introduced their "Crystal-Talk" technology in Razr-2, which is being regarded ain reviews as an industry revolution.

If u use a bluetooth headset, you can give speech commands to the phone, like "Call [name/number]", "Check Status (battery/signal strength etc)". The phone responds to your commands with an audio answer. Amazing!

Linux operating system: great speed and no hiccups/hanging problem. Lots and lots of free software available online.

Pretty decent Music Player. Good speakers.

Motorola sets are not so good for heavy texters. With each SMS, you have to switch on the delivery report again and again. This is very irritating.
