Can anyone tell me the price of Handheld GPS device and what features does it offer? I need it for measurement of length, speed and current location etc. Is it also available in rechargeable battery? And also i'd like to know the price of measuring wheel.

I hv one megallan gps device. Bought it abt 8 years ago. Very rarely used for survey n military purpose. I think its box n booklets r also still intact somwhere in my luggage. Its powered by 3aa batteries. Let me know if u r looking for same thing. I might give it to u but not rite now as curently i m away frm home . In march end or april start.

I cant recall the exact model # but once i get bk home i ll.let u knw thn compare it with newer models n obviously u ll get it cheap than new ones.

I have used similar models in garmin also n i must say they r v user friendly but reception of this one is unmatchable.

im quite good at GPSs and have used many different models. in short Garmin are rugged and easy to use.Magellan are a bit diifficult to operate and calibrate especially for military purposes. in simpler car lovers example MAGELLANs are the CIVICS and GARMIN the Cowrolla!! this particular model is an excellent model that dms664 has up for sale.
